Job Summary:
A hands-on Programmatic Trading Manager is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of digital advertising, programmatic trading, and data-driven optimization strategies. This position is the leader of the AdLib team of traders and media planners and plays a crucial supporting role in presales and client success activities. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the successful execution, delivery, and optimization of client campaigns along with providing strategic recommendations, guidance, and media plans to prospects and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
● Media Planning: Develop strategic media plans for programmatic advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget allocation, and bidding guidance.
● Self Service Campaign Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor and optimize self service client campaigns, collaborating with Client Success & Ad Operations to ensure they are delivering as planned, meeting performance KPIs, and that AdLib profits
are maximized. Provide support in identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the campaign lifecycle.
● Managed Service Campaign Setup and Trafficking: Oversee the trafficking, setup, and optimization of campaigns in the AdLib platform on behalf of managed service clients. Responsible for the successful delivery and performance of campaigns in partner
DSPs. Collaborate with Ad Ops in identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the campaign lifecycle.
● Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, account management, and ad operations, to ensure cohesive campaign strategies and execution. Stay ahead of industry developments to drive innovation within the team and the broader company.
● Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of programmatic traders, providing hands-on guidance and mentorship. Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.
● Performance Analysis and Insights: Analyze campaign performance data to provide clients with insightful reports and actionable recommendations for optimization. Use data to tell a story that helps clients understand the value and impact of their campaigns.
● Performance Reporting: Oversee the development of reports and insights delivered to clients on the performance of their advertising campaigns, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
● AdLib SME: Senior level subject matter expert on AdLib including trafficking, reporting, optimization, and troubleshooting.
● DSP SME: Senior level subject matter expert on all partner DSPs including trafficking, forecasting, reporting, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in programmatic trading or ad operations, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing campaigns.
● At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with a focus on team management and development.
● Expert knowledge of DSPs, programmatic advertising ecosystems, and data analysis tools.
● Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable campaign strategies.
● Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively mentoring team members and engaging with clients.
● Hands-on experience with campaign management and optimization, demonstrating a proactive approach to achieving results.

● Excellent campaign delivery monitoring and common troubleshooting tactics.
● Ability to optimize campaigns in top DSPs (Beeswax, Xandr, DV360, Criteo, AdForm, Moloco, MediaMath, AdQuick, WideOrbit, Yahoo, Kayzen, TheTradeDesk, Amazon).

Reporting To:
Director of Programmatic Trading or equivalent senior role.
